Chapter 6
After gaining a fair amount of distance between them and Koki’s hospital room, they went and sat down in the waiting area which, unfortunately for the other three,it gave Jin ample time to get answers out of them about Kame’s sudden behavior.
“ Since we’re safely out here and not in the direct line of fire, unlike our resident JOKER, will you guys tell me what in the name of God’s Christiandom is going with Koki? And why Kame is acting the way is? What do you three know that I am not allowed to know...at least not the whole story anyway?” Jin asked
Tatsuya, Yuichi and Junno just looked at each other wondering whether or not it’s a good idea to tell him, since the last secret he was let in on was when MaruNo got together and he went and spread it all over JE or so they think anyway.
“ Well Ueda...?” Jin demanded again with clear irritation his voice.
Maru and Junno just looked at Ueda, who remained silent, and much to Jin’s annoyance, it was Maru who spoke first.
“ See, the thing is, Jin, is that Koki....( here he looks at Ueda, who just nods at him to continue), Koki has....”
Jin put up his hand to silent Maru’s explanation.
“ I want HIM to tell me what’s going on” he points at Ueda, since his actions were forced by Ueda to keep Kame in the dark about Koki being in the hospital for as long as possible.
Ueda just gets up and turns to leave when Jin grabs by the arm and holds him in a vice-like grip so he can’t get away. Ueda just glares at Jin but starts to explain things none the less.
“ For a long time koki has been in love with Kazuya and he hasn’t been dealing with it all that well. Before you ask why he's never confessed, I’ll tell you. One reason was that you and Kame were together at the time, until you dumped him for Yamashita, he’s afraid to lose a great friend, he doesn’t want to ruin his friendship with kazuya, that it would interfere with the group and the group’s reputation as well. There’s another reason, but I am not the one that should be telling you ( he looks at all three with an apologetic look) what that other reason is. What I can say is that it’s the main reason that fuels his actions and decisions by not telling Kame how he feels, when even I know that he knows that Kame’s feelings are mutual. I have tried telling koki that all Kame’s going to care about his him and not anything else. But Koki is as stubborn as Kame, probably more so, Maru and Junno have been trying to talk to Koki but he won’t listen to anyone. That’s why we had Maru call him and to tell him that koki was here, in the hopes that Koki will just be straight with Kazuya...assuming of course he survives his current encounter with Kame, that is. Oh and if one word of this gets out about whatever outcome there is with those two...my last threat still stands...I will be sending you on a one way trip to the moon, Bakanishi..” Ueda states with a glare that makes two things happen inside Jin, one is fear and the other is the funny sensation of his heart going Hira, Hira.
“ I wont tell anyone, I promise. Oh and for the record I was not the one that lifted the lid on MaruNo over here, and he’s going to kill me, but that was Matsumoto. He just happen to see them saying good bye and seen that Maru had given Taguchi a quick kiss on the cheek. I have this rule that whatever happens within the group stays with in the group. I thought something was up with Kame,in regards to koki, some time ago. I noticed that he never got angry with him, today the being the exception of course, or never told him off for the constant mothering Koki gives him when he’s over doing things or when he’s filming whatever drama he is staring in.”
“ what do you think is going on in Koki’s room?” Junno voiced the question that they all wondered.
