Summary: *avoids like the bubonic plague* This is a sequel the KoKame half of Rescue me, so you may want to read that one first...so you can understand this one better.
Chapter 7
While Koki and Kame were enjoying their time with their families and the hot spring, Miroku gets to Kame’s place a little before noon to pick him for what was going to be nothing but two days of horizontal relaxation at his place...away from Koki and their meddling friends, too bad Kame’s not even home, he had everything planned out before hand. They would have breakfast, lunch and dinner out on his balcony and then retire to the bed room for “dessert” and he just thought it was the most romantic thing ever...he even brought Kame more of the same ugly flowers he had left on his doorstep six hours prior.
“ You better be ready to go, kamenashi-san. Two days with me and you'll forget all about Tanaka-san and realize with whom you really belong with, that and I would finally have my revenge against the one who took everything from me.” He thought to himself as he pulled up to Kame’s place and walked into the building and as he did so he passed the place where Kame usually parks his car, yet he failed to notice that, not only was Kame’s car gone ( his motorcycle is kept at Koki’s house) but it was Koki’s car that now sits in Kame’s parking space. He stops in front of Kame’s front door and knocks....no answer...he knocks again, louder this time
“ That’s weird...I told him that I was coming to pick him up today, maybe he can’t hear me...” He thought.
“ Kamenashi-san! Its me, my darling, its your Miroku...” He called but still no response, can we say delusional...with a capital D with this guy. He calls again....
“ Kamenashi-san! Its me...open up, remember we had plans these next two days.” Again no response came from the other side of the door.
“ Maybe he went to Jimusho to visit his bandmates...I’ll swing by and check.” he said to himself and walked back down to his car, on the way out he noticed something that he hadn’t before...a small pile of ash and a half burned piece of paper.
“ Huh? What’s this about?” He bent down and picked up the part of the paper that failed to burn and read the only parts he could decipher...
“ Hey...this looks a lot like the note I left for Kamenashi-san...wait..a...it is the note I left for him..” he said, “ if this the note then where’s the....” he looked at the pile and noticed the flowers that he left for him and his blood began to boil.
“ But why would he burn his gift from me? But wait...he wouldn’t destroy a gift from me, his boyfriend, he’s not that kinda person. So, if he didn’t then..who could have....?” then it hits him who the other more likely candidate would be and the very thought almost pushed him over the edge, the only thing that he kept him from losing his mind ( I wasn’t aware he ever had one) was the fact that he still had Kame’s ring, not realizing he dropped it and that Ueda had picked it up and gave it back to its rightful owner.
“ It was.....TANAKA-SAN!! How dare you!!” and he ran to his car...still not noticing that Koki’s car sits in Kame’s spot...and sped off to JE to see if the couple were there...little did he know that rest of KT had decided to set him up to make him look really stupid when he confronts the Joker and his Ace on Monday morning..
At Jimusho
Not having the luxury of being Kitagawa’s favorites, the other four members of KT still had work to do and as such were stuck at JE. The others were eating lunch when Ueda had a wonderfully, yet evil idea and it involved Kokame’s resident stalker....
“ Hey, I got an idea” he says turning to his boyfriend
“ What’s that?”
“ Wanna play a little trick on Miroku?”
“Is that really a good idea?” Maru spoke
“ With all he’s putting our joker and turtle through...I don’t see the harm in it.” Ueda said simply.
"How come you get to call Kame "turtle" and I can't?" Jin said pouting
" Because I am not the one that dug his nails into the guy's flesh so hard that it caused him to bleed" Ueda answered as he rolled his eyes.,
“ What did you have in mind, tat-chan?” Junno asked
“ Well, since Kame and koki aren’t home and I wouldn’t put it past him to swing by Kame’s place to cause even more trouble. So I figured we could make a fool out of him...using THIS...” he held a gold ring that matched Kame’s to a T except it wasn’t engraved on the inside.
“ Where did you get that?”
“ Let me guess, you bought it b/c its identical to Kame’s but without the words on the inside?”
“ Yep, and since I can kinda figure out the way his mind works. I’ll give you my theory of his next move after showing up at Kame’s only come to find out that he is not there, he’s going to get pissed off at Koki for one reason or another and he’ll probably show up here bugging us since we’re the among the select few that know their whereabouts. We feign ignorance and suggest he take it up with them monday”
Little did anyone know just how right Ueda’s theory was....
“So what did you have in mind?”
“I doubt he has yet to realize that he’s dropped Kame’s ring, we leave this one where he can find it...with a note attach to it”
“ What is this note going to say exactly, Ueda?”
“ You just leave that to me...All you guys have to do is play along and follow my lead all right? Oh and one of us is going to have to get in touch with Koki and Kame to let them know what is going on so they’re not left in the dark...lord knows that koki gets lost there enough as it is and I’d rather not risk playing with his fears like this without him knowing about it so he doesn’t suffer another set back.”
“ Good thinking Ueda, I’ll call them right now and tell them what we’re going to do.” Maru said and pulled out his phone while Ueda writes the note and puts it and the fake ring in an envelope and tacked it to the door of their room.
Miroku pulls into JE’s parking lot and storms his way to KT dressing room and as he does so he reaches into his pocket to get kame’s ring, since the feel of it makes him calm some how, but he stops and starts freaking out.
“ Its gone....the ring I took from him..is...but..where could it be...” He muttered to himself. He kept walking in the hopes of remembering where he might have dropped it, he was about to go back an retrace his steps from the car until he realized he was standing in front of his destination and then he remembered why he came here in the first place, he raised his hand to knock when he noticed an envelope with his name on it....he took it down and read the note inside....
“ Here I think you dropped something on your way to your car the other day and as Kame’s boyfriend it should be returned to you...
good luck”
Miroku then noticed that there was in fact something inside the envelope as well and dumped its contents into his hand and Kame’s ring ( or the one he thinks is Kame’s anyway) fell into his hand. Confused and still pissed he entered KT’s dressing room and demanded to know where his boyfriend went. As he entered four pairs of eyes turned in his direction.....
“ Okay, where is he?!! Where did he go?!” He asked the room at large
“ No idea.” Junno said
“ Sorry can’t help you” Jin and Maru said together
“ I know you bastards know where my boyfriend went and I demand that you tell me!” he shouted, while the others just shrugged. Now he was really getting annoyed since he wasnt use to having people stand in his way on purpose. In his fury he started towards Jin, who was just staring at him with a mocking look on his face, and grabbed him by the shirt collar which made Ueda make his move.
“ Tell me where he is NOW!! He’s with Tanaka-san....again, isn’t he?” He screamed
“ You know, maggot, it would be wise to let me go.” Jin warned in a calm tone as Ueda made his way over.
“ Not until you tell me where they are!” he said in a low growl.
“ Let him go, Jackass, didn’t I warn you once not to touch that which doesn’t belong to you” Ueda said has he cracked his knuckles and glared daggers at Miroku...who wisely let go of Jin’s shirt as the look that KT’s resident dictator was giving him sent chills up his spine that made the hair on the back of Miroku’s neck stand up. He rounded on Ueda ignoring the spine chilling hoarfrost glare that Ueda was now giving him and said....
“ Then tell me where they are, dammit.” He said
“ Look, we told we don’t know where they went and even if we did know (which they do actually) we still wouldn’t tell you...now get out of here before you don’t live to see the sun come up.” Ueda said as he reached for something in his back pocket hoping that he won’t have to actually use it.
“ Why do you need to know so badly anyway? Its not like he’s cheating on you anyway, since Kame doesn’t do that his partners” Junno asked as Miroku was heading towards the door but stopped at the sound of Junno’s voice.
“ or did you want to give him back the ring you took?” Jin said
“ Because I went by his place and found out that he wasn’t home after I expressly forbade him from going anywhere with anyone but me and I come to find that either he or that troublesome Tanaka-san destroyed the flowers I left for him and No, I have no intentions of giving it back. He’s not wearing anyone else’s declaration other than mine.”
“ Why don’t you try looking all over Tokyo for them since they’re not here.” Jin said as his stomach churned from all the disgust he was feeling towards Miroku and what he was saying.
“ Now get out of here before Ueda makes good on his threat” Maru said wisely as he had a pretty good idea what Ueda was holding onto.
“ Fine, you’re all hell bent on protecting them I see....fine then..I’ll just take it up with them Monday since they only have these two days off.” He said as he walked over to the door and left.
“ I can’t....” Ueda cut Jin off as their door opened again
“ Let them know that they won’t get away with this and tell Kame that whomever owns his ring...owns his heart.” Miroku said and shut the door with a loud snap.
After checking to make sure that he was gone Jin was able to finish his sentence..
“ I can’t believe that worked Tatsuya!” he said as he hugged him laughing.
“ Now we have him running all over Tokyo looking for two people who aren’t even in the city.” They all laughed themselves silly at Miroku’s expense, only Junno calmed down long enough to call Kame and tell him what the out come was.
Back at the camp grounds:
Kame and Koki were enjoying their walk when they got an unexpected call from Maru, confused Kame answered his phone...
“ Yes, Maru? Why are you calling...?” He got cut off
“ Listen Kame, we don’t have much time here but we need you to ask Koki if its alright if we play with his greatest fear for a bit.”
“ Why? What’s going on?” kame asked.
“ Ueda thinks he’s got Miroku figured out and he wants to make him look like an idiot for the next two days, until you two get back and we have to play it up like you really are Miroku’s boyfriend, disgusting thought I know, and he doesn’t want to play with koki’s fear like that without his permission and without Koki being in on the joke. Since Miroku doesn’t know that you were going out of town, right?, well Ueda figures that after he goes to your place to pick you up and finds out you’re not there that he’s going to come here looking for you. So, will you ask Koki for us?”
“ Hmm.....sounds like it will be entertaining to watch and sure, hang on.....”
“ What is it, kame?” Koki asked
“ Well, the guys want to mess with Miroku’s head for a bit and they have to make it sound like I really am his boyfriend and not yours *kame shivered at the very notion of being with that lunatic*, they don’t want to play with your greatest fear without you A) knowing about it and B) without you giving them the go ahead. So, can they use what they need to?”
“To mess with that screw loose, then yes, tell them I said go ahead...there is one condition though....” he said as slipped his arm around Kame’s waist.
“ Let me guess, koki, they need to give us an update on how it goes.” Kame laughed at this as koki said yes and lightly whacked Koki in the head.
“Okay, maru, koki says its alright but we want details though in return”
“ Thanks guys”
Kame hung up and they continued on until they found what they were looking for...it was the natural hot spring. Kame couldn’t believe what he saw, it looked like something right out of a novel....or maybe a big Koi pond. It was surrounded by at least a dozen of the tallest trees one could imagine, it had rocks all around the outside and inside that were big enough to sit on. It was quiet and serene, and the sun shone through the trees and the beam landed right on the hot spring.
“ Sugoi!! How did you find this place, Koki? Its amazing!!” He said as his eyes light up with wonder and his love koki shone even brighter than before.
“ Um, actually, it was Juri who found it and told me about it, I guess he thought we would want some alone time while we’re here...other than in our tent. I brought you here so we could relax...especially you, my love, since you’re more stressed than I am...what with worrying about me, my illness, work and that nut job back at JE.” He looks kinda sad as he mentioned his condition and Kame’s stress level.
“ Thanks for bringing me here and I have been under a lot of stress lately”, he said as Koki gave him a guilty look, “ come on, lets get in already" ,and Kame undressed and motioned for Koki to do the same, seemingly ignoring the look in his boyfriend’s eyes. When they were both settled in the nice hot, relaxing water Kame climbed into Koki’s lap, since its his second favorite spot to be in,the first being in Koki’s bed and sighed contently when he felt Koki wrap his arms around his lean frame....
“ I am really sorry, Kame” Koki said into Kame’s hair and placed a grazing kiss on his right temple.
“ What for?”
“ For stressing you out, its the last thing you need right now and....but I....” Kame stopped his rambling with kiss.
“ Look Koki, I won’t lie and pretend that its not stressful....” Koki turns his head to avoid looking at Kame, who just gently forces his head back up so he can look him in the eyes, “ But I love you with all my heart and I wouldn’t trade you for anything or anyone. Mental illness or no, I love you for you and for who I am when I am with you. So, you can stop apologizing baby. I am not ever going to run away from this....” he said patiently for the millionth time
“ But I’m not....” Koki started but Kame cut him off.
“ Not healthy nor stable right now, I know and I know you think that I deserve someone who’s perfectly healthy and stable, right?” it wasn’t a question, “ Well, you’re wrong...I dont need someone who is those things, I only need you the way you are and we will get you stable and healthy again, it will just take some time. So, I am not going to leave you...ever.” he said
“ Do you mean that, Kazu?” Koki asked
“ Look in my eyes and tell me if I am lying or not”
Koki searched Kame’s eyes for any trace of a lie and he was relieved that he failed to find any.
“ You’re not lying”
“ See, I told you”
“ Besides, have you ever hurt me when you were in one of your relapse states?” He asked as he kissed koki on the lips.
“ Not that I know of and you would have told me if I had, i bet.”
“ Okay then...now since its just the two of us and we’re alone, why don’t we have a little fun” he said as he let his soft warm breath tickle Koki’s neck as he leaned and started kissing down Koki’s jaw line and he heard a moan when he started nibbling his lover’s ear. While he was slowly rubbing himself against koki making the older one growl low in his throat and it wasn’t long before Koki got hard, things were about to get hot and heavy when Kame’s phone choose that specific moment to interrupt them. Kame groaned in frustration and reached for his phone to see who decided to disturb them when he was in the middle of molesting his boyfriend, he looked at the name and noticed it was Junno.....
“ Yes, we’re kinda in the middle of something, what is it?” Kame asked while trying to suppress a moan as Koki decided to tease him while he was on the phone as Junno started to tell Kame what happened.
“ Wait, wait and I’ll put it on speaker so Koki can hear this too...okay now tell us the outcome of Ueda’s little game”
Junno tells them whole story....
“ So now we have that jerk running around the whole of Tokyo looking for you....” Koki and Kame burst out laughing, “He also said the you two would pay for not being home and he said to tell you, Kame, that who ever owns your ring...owns your heart. but then again he doesn’t realize that ring he’s got is a fake and that you’re wearing the one he took, that he managed to drop.” KoKame laughed even harder....
“ Thanks Junno, we’ll pick up where you guys left off when we get to work on Monday”
“ Sure thing, guys.” Junno disconnects the line and Kame switches his phone to vibrate.
“ Now, where were we.....” koki said as slipped his hand down into the water and began playing with kame’s balls as he pinched the sensitive area between his lover’s legs, making kame groan in Koki’s ear and ran his tongue down the side of his neck. He pulled himself off his boyfriend just enough so he could duck under the water and as Kame did so Koki caught the evil glint in his eyes and then he felt a warming sensation spread over his cock, he looked in the water and seen that Kame was giving him an under water blow job. “ Kame was suppose to be with me.” Koki’s cousin Hana said and she too was on the verge of crying. All KoKame could do was roll their eyes as Kame called his brother to come and rescue them from the 14 yr. olds.
“ Hey, Makoto?”
“ Can you come to the hot spring and take Hana and Chika back with you?”
“ Yeah why?”
“ They’re purposely interrupting mine and Koki’s “ alone” time, they still can’t get over their “ puppy love” feelings for us” Kame whined into the phone while Koki tried to keep Chika from climbing into his lap since he was only wearing a towel around his waist.
“ Yeah, sure...I’ll come get them.”, He said catching Kame’s hint, “But could I drop off your guys’s four legged children with you, since I can’t keep up with them and your niece at the same time?”
“Its a trade...we’ll take the dogs, you can take the humans”
As Makoto hung up he heard Kame yell....” What do you think you’re doing, Chika?” and made a prompt beeline to the hot spring to rescue his brother and Koki. When he got there he gave Hana and Chika a prompt talking too....
“ You two need to leave them alone and find boys your own age, they are way too old for you. Now, stop bugging them and come on and help prepare dinner.” He gave them a stern look but Chika wasn’t backing off so easily...
“ Why would we want boys our own age when everything we want in a husband is right there?” She points in Koki’s and Kame’s direction, who were playing with their dogs.
“ That’s because we’re older and have matured” Koki said.
“ Besides, Chika, you wouldn’t be able to handle Koki considering what...”, he looks at koki who nods his approval, “ he’s got and how bad it is. I, myself, don’t even know the full extent as just how bad he is right now, only your cousin does. You will never be able to do for him that which only Kazuya can do, he’s simply too much for you, which is why you should just forget about Koki and find a boy your own age. And for you Hana, do you really think you can handle my brother when he’s pissed off or goes into diva mode?”, ( this comment causes Kame to pout rather cutely at his lover), not too mention not every woman or guy would be able to put up with their careers and the countless of female fans that throw themselves at them on a daily basis. There are things that Kame needs and Koki’s the only one that can give them to him. Now, leave them in peace and when we get back to the city start looking for boys your own age. They have enough going on right now and they don’t need teenage hormones added to the mix.”
“ My brother’s right, we’re much too old for you anyway. The boys your age will eventually mature into fine adults worthy of your attentions...just give them a chance right now and you may come to find out that they’re alright.” Kame said.
“ FINE!! We’ll leave them alone....come on Hana...lets go and help my mom with dinner” both girls leave in huff.
“ Thanks Makoto” Koki said
“ Don’t mention it, we have been trying to get them to interested in boys their own age for quite sometime now” he said as he went back to the campsite, while Kame and Koki went back to their light make out session, it wasn’t anything too intense as they both were still recovering from earlier. Once they were fully dried off they put their clothes back and laid down on the blanket and watched the stars.
“ Hey Koki?”
“ Hmm” he said as he was gently ran his fingers through Kame’s hair.
“ How come you never talk about your father and who he really is? And why you and your mother and brothers were always under heavy protection, not to mention the new position you found yourself in a few a years ago.” He asked, Of course Kame already knew about what else Koki was hiding but he always wondered why he never entrusted their friends and band mates with the same knowledge.
“ Because my father is dead to me, even though he’s alive and a broken man because of the choice he made all those years ago right after Juri was born. I never talk about the rest of it since it has nothing to do with the life I have now, and I only have to deal with it when business decisions need to be made....” Kame gave him a strange look.
“ Don’t worry Angel, I never give those kinds of orders...I can’t stomach them, though if Miroku keeps up his shit, I may make an exception in his case,” Koki said and given what Kame knew, he knew full well it wasn’t idle threat, “ Those are the types of orders would take me away from you and would destroy my career and I don’t ever want to be separated from you...ever”
“ Good, I am glad to hear it” Kame smiled at Koki’s answer and gave him light, soft kiss on the lips.
“ As to why I have only told you about it and not Jin and the others...its simple, they would definitely hate me and would probably turn me over to the cops or something”
“ I was just wondering” Kame said and dropped the subject.
“ Hey Kame?”
“ Yeah, baby”
“ Answer me honestly...have you ever thought about leaving me because of my condition?”
“ Honestly...yes, I have...but then I thought about what it would do to me and I always felt my stomach churn at the very thought of giving up on you. I realized that I couldn’t bring myself to do such a thing to the most important man in my life and I don’t want or need anyone else but you so don’t be afraid I am not going anywhere, cause like it or not...Koki...you and your illness is stuck with a diva like me as your boyfriend.” Kame smirked and saw once again koki saw no lie in Kame’s eyes...Kame wasn’t going anywhere.
“ I am glad not only because you’re staying with me cause you want to, but also because you were honest with me.” he said as lifted himself on his elbow and leaned down and kissed Kame deeply, who eagerly responded in kind and they started round two. Twenty minutes later, they got a phone call telling them that dinner was ready so they headed back to eat and after dinner they sat around the camp fire telling ghost stories while Kame’s niece fell asleep curled up in Koki’s lap, while ran, jelly, sakura were asleep in Kame’s lap, Koki’s other dog preferred to sleep in the doggie tent. After a while everyone retired to their tents for the night since they have to get up early so they can go floating on the river.

So, if he didn’t then..who could have....?” then it hits him who the other more likely candidate would be and the very thought almost pushed him over the edge, the only thing that he kept him from losing his mind ( I wasn’t aware he ever had one) was the fact that he still had Kame’s ring, not realizing he dropped it and that Ueda had picked it up and gave it back to its rightful owner.
“ It was.....TANAKA-SAN!! How dare you!!” and he ran to his car...still not noticing that Koki’s car sits in Kame’s spot...and sped off to JE to see if the couple were there...little did he know that rest of KT had decided to set him up to make him look really stupid when he confronts the Joker and his Ace on Monday morning..
At Jimusho
Not having the luxury of being Kitagawa’s favorites, the other four members of KT still had work to do and as such were stuck at JE. The others were eating lunch when Ueda had a wonderfully, yet evil idea and it involved Kokame’s resident stalker....
“ Hey, I got an idea” he says turning to his boyfriend
“ What’s that?”
“ Wanna play a little trick on Miroku?”
“Is that really a good idea?” Maru spoke
“ With all he’s putting our joker and turtle through...I don’t see the harm in it.” Ueda said simply.
"How come you get to call Kame "turtle" and I can't?" Jin said pouting
" Because I am not the one that dug his nails into the guy's flesh so hard that it caused him to bleed" Ueda answered as he rolled his eyes.,
“ What did you have in mind, tat-chan?” Junno asked
“ Well, since Kame and koki aren’t home and I wouldn’t put it past him to swing by Kame’s place to cause even more trouble. So I figured we could make a fool out of him...using THIS...” he held a gold ring that matched Kame’s to a T except it wasn’t engraved on the inside.
“ Where did you get that?”
“ Let me guess, you bought it b/c its identical to Kame’s but without the words on the inside?”
“ Yep, and since I can kinda figure out the way his mind works. I’ll give you my theory of his next move after showing up at Kame’s only come to find out that he is not there, he’s going to get pissed off at Koki for one reason or another and he’ll probably show up here bugging us since we’re the among the select few that know their whereabouts. We feign ignorance and suggest he take it up with them monday”
Little did anyone know just how right Ueda’s theory was....
“So what did you have in mind?”
“I doubt he has yet to realize that he’s dropped Kame’s ring, we leave this one where he can find it...with a note attach to it”
“ What is this note going to say exactly, Ueda?”
“ You just leave that to me...All you guys have to do is play along and follow my lead all right? Oh and one of us is going to have to get in touch with Koki and Kame to let them know what is going on so they’re not left in the dark...lord knows that koki gets lost there enough as it is and I’d rather not risk playing with his fears like this without him knowing about it so he doesn’t suffer another set back.”
“ Good thinking Ueda, I’ll call them right now and tell them what we’re going to do.” Maru said and pulled out his phone while Ueda writes the note and puts it and the fake ring in an envelope and tacked it to the door of their room.
Miroku pulls into JE’s parking lot and storms his way to KT dressing room and as he does so he reaches into his pocket to get kame’s ring, since the feel of it makes him calm some how, but he stops and starts freaking out.
“ Its gone....the ring I took from him..is...but..where could it be...” He muttered to himself. He kept walking in the hopes of remembering where he might have dropped it, he was about to go back an retrace his steps from the car until he realized he was standing in front of his destination and then he remembered why he came here in the first place, he raised his hand to knock when he noticed an envelope with his name on it....he took it down and read the note inside....
“ Here I think you dropped something on your way to your car the other day and as Kame’s boyfriend it should be returned to you...
good luck”
Miroku then noticed that there was in fact something inside the envelope as well and dumped its contents into his hand and Kame’s ring ( or the one he thinks is Kame’s anyway) fell into his hand. Confused and still pissed he entered KT’s dressing room and demanded to know where his boyfriend went. As he entered four pairs of eyes turned in his direction.....
“ Okay, where is he?!! Where did he go?!” He asked the room at large
“ No idea.” Junno said
“ Sorry can’t help you” Jin and Maru said together
“ I know you bastards know where my boyfriend went and I demand that you tell me!” he shouted, while the others just shrugged. Now he was really getting annoyed since he wasnt use to having people stand in his way on purpose. In his fury he started towards Jin, who was just staring at him with a mocking look on his face, and grabbed him by the shirt collar which made Ueda make his move.
“ Tell me where he is NOW!! He’s with Tanaka-san....again, isn’t he?” He screamed
“ You know, maggot, it would be wise to let me go.” Jin warned in a calm tone as Ueda made his way over.
“ Not until you tell me where they are!” he said in a low growl.
“ Let him go, Jackass, didn’t I warn you once not to touch that which doesn’t belong to you” Ueda said has he cracked his knuckles and glared daggers at Miroku...who wisely let go of Jin’s shirt as the look that KT’s resident dictator was giving him sent chills up his spine that made the hair on the back of Miroku’s neck stand up. He rounded on Ueda ignoring the spine chilling hoarfrost glare that Ueda was now giving him and said....
“ Then tell me where they are, dammit.” He said
“ Look, we told we don’t know where they went and even if we did know (which they do actually) we still wouldn’t tell you...now get out of here before you don’t live to see the sun come up.” Ueda said as he reached for something in his back pocket hoping that he won’t have to actually use it.
“ Why do you need to know so badly anyway? Its not like he’s cheating on you anyway, since Kame doesn’t do that his partners” Junno asked as Miroku was heading towards the door but stopped at the sound of Junno’s voice.
“ or did you want to give him back the ring you took?” Jin said
“ Because I went by his place and found out that he wasn’t home after I expressly forbade him from going anywhere with anyone but me and I come to find that either he or that troublesome Tanaka-san destroyed the flowers I left for him and No, I have no intentions of giving it back. He’s not wearing anyone else’s declaration other than mine.”
“ Why don’t you try looking all over Tokyo for them since they’re not here.” Jin said as his stomach churned from all the disgust he was feeling towards Miroku and what he was saying.
“ Now get out of here before Ueda makes good on his threat” Maru said wisely as he had a pretty good idea what Ueda was holding onto.
“ Fine, you’re all hell bent on protecting them I see....fine then..I’ll just take it up with them Monday since they only have these two days off.” He said as he walked over to the door and left.
“ I can’t....” Ueda cut Jin off as their door opened again
“ Let them know that they won’t get away with this and tell Kame that whomever owns his ring...owns his heart.” Miroku said and shut the door with a loud snap.
After checking to make sure that he was gone Jin was able to finish his sentence..
“ I can’t believe that worked Tatsuya!” he said as he hugged him laughing.
“ Now we have him running all over Tokyo looking for two people who aren’t even in the city.” They all laughed themselves silly at Miroku’s expense, only Junno calmed down long enough to call Kame and tell him what the out come was.
Back at the camp grounds:
Kame and Koki were enjoying their walk when they got an unexpected call from Maru, confused Kame answered his phone...
“ Yes, Maru? Why are you calling...?” He got cut off
“ Listen Kame, we don’t have much time here but we need you to ask Koki if its alright if we play with his greatest fear for a bit.”
“ Why? What’s going on?” kame asked.
“ Ueda thinks he’s got Miroku figured out and he wants to make him look like an idiot for the next two days, until you two get back and we have to play it up like you really are Miroku’s boyfriend, disgusting thought I know, and he doesn’t want to play with koki’s fear like that without his permission and without Koki being in on the joke. Since Miroku doesn’t know that you were going out of town, right?, well Ueda figures that after he goes to your place to pick you up and finds out you’re not there that he’s going to come here looking for you. So, will you ask Koki for us?”
“ Hmm.....sounds like it will be entertaining to watch and sure, hang on.....”
“ What is it, kame?” Koki asked
“ Well, the guys want to mess with Miroku’s head for a bit and they have to make it sound like I really am his boyfriend and not yours *kame shivered at the very notion of being with that lunatic*, they don’t want to play with your greatest fear without you A) knowing about it and B) without you giving them the go ahead. So, can they use what they need to?”
“To mess with that screw loose, then yes, tell them I said go ahead...there is one condition though....” he said as slipped his arm around Kame’s waist.
“ Let me guess, koki, they need to give us an update on how it goes.” Kame laughed at this as koki said yes and lightly whacked Koki in the head.
“Okay, maru, koki says its alright but we want details though in return”
“ Thanks guys”
Kame hung up and they continued on until they found what they were looking for...it was the natural hot spring. Kame couldn’t believe what he saw, it looked like something right out of a novel....or maybe a big Koi pond. It was surrounded by at least a dozen of the tallest trees one could imagine, it had rocks all around the outside and inside that were big enough to sit on. It was quiet and serene, and the sun shone through the trees and the beam landed right on the hot spring.
“ Sugoi!! How did you find this place, Koki? Its amazing!!” He said as his eyes light up with wonder and his love koki shone even brighter than before.
“ Um, actually, it was Juri who found it and told me about it, I guess he thought we would want some alone time while we’re here...other than in our tent. I brought you here so we could relax...especially you, my love, since you’re more stressed than I am...what with worrying about me, my illness, work and that nut job back at JE.” He looks kinda sad as he mentioned his condition and Kame’s stress level.
“ Thanks for bringing me here and I have been under a lot of stress lately”, he said as Koki gave him a guilty look, “ come on, lets get in already" ,and Kame undressed and motioned for Koki to do the same, seemingly ignoring the look in his boyfriend’s eyes. When they were both settled in the nice hot, relaxing water Kame climbed into Koki’s lap, since its his second favorite spot to be in,the first being in Koki’s bed and sighed contently when he felt Koki wrap his arms around his lean frame....
“ I am really sorry, Kame” Koki said into Kame’s hair and placed a grazing kiss on his right temple.
“ What for?”
“ For stressing you out, its the last thing you need right now and....but I....” Kame stopped his rambling with kiss.
“ Look Koki, I won’t lie and pretend that its not stressful....” Koki turns his head to avoid looking at Kame, who just gently forces his head back up so he can look him in the eyes, “ But I love you with all my heart and I wouldn’t trade you for anything or anyone. Mental illness or no, I love you for you and for who I am when I am with you. So, you can stop apologizing baby. I am not ever going to run away from this....” he said patiently for the millionth time
“ But I’m not....” Koki started but Kame cut him off.
“ Not healthy nor stable right now, I know and I know you think that I deserve someone who’s perfectly healthy and stable, right?” it wasn’t a question, “ Well, you’re wrong...I dont need someone who is those things, I only need you the way you are and we will get you stable and healthy again, it will just take some time. So, I am not going to leave you...ever.” he said
“ Do you mean that, Kazu?” Koki asked
“ Look in my eyes and tell me if I am lying or not”
Koki searched Kame’s eyes for any trace of a lie and he was relieved that he failed to find any.
“ You’re not lying”
“ See, I told you”
“ Besides, have you ever hurt me when you were in one of your relapse states?” He asked as he kissed koki on the lips.
“ Not that I know of and you would have told me if I had, i bet.”
“ Okay then...now since its just the two of us and we’re alone, why don’t we have a little fun” he said as he let his soft warm breath tickle Koki’s neck as he leaned and started kissing down Koki’s jaw line and he heard a moan when he started nibbling his lover’s ear. “ Thanks Junno, we’ll pick up where you guys left off when we get to work on Monday”
“ Sure thing, guys.” Junno disconnects the line and Kame switches his phone to vibrate.

“ They’re purposely interrupting mine and Koki’s “ alone” time, they still can’t get over their “ puppy love” feelings for us” Kame whined into the phone while Koki tried to keep Chika from climbing into his lap since he was only wearing a towel around his waist.
“ Yeah, sure...I’ll come get them.”, He said catching Kame’s hint, “But could I drop off your guys’s four legged children with you, since I can’t keep up with them and your niece at the same time?”
“Its a trade...we’ll take the dogs, you can take the humans”
As Makoto hung up he heard Kame yell....” What do you think you’re doing, Chika?” and made a prompt beeline to the hot spring to rescue his brother and Koki. When he got there he gave Hana and Chika a prompt talking too....
“ You two need to leave them alone and find boys your own age, they are way too old for you. Now, stop bugging them and come on and help prepare dinner.” He gave them a stern look but Chika wasn’t backing off so easily...
“ Why would we want boys our own age when everything we want in a husband is right there?” She points in Koki’s and Kame’s direction, who were playing with their dogs.
“ That’s because we’re older and have matured” Koki said.
“ Besides, Chika, you wouldn’t be able to handle Koki considering what...”, he looks at koki who nods his approval, “ he’s got and how bad it is. I, myself, don’t even know the full extent as just how bad he is right now, only your cousin does. You will never be able to do for him that which only Kazuya can do, he’s simply too much for you, which is why you should just forget about Koki and find a boy your own age. And for you Hana, do you really think you can handle my brother when he’s pissed off or goes into diva mode?”, ( this comment causes Kame to pout rather cutely at his lover), not too mention not every woman or guy would be able to put up with their careers and the countless of female fans that throw themselves at them on a daily basis. There are things that Kame needs and Koki’s the only one that can give them to him. Now, leave them in peace and when we get back to the city start looking for boys your own age. They have enough going on right now and they don’t need teenage hormones added to the mix.”
“ My brother’s right, we’re much too old for you anyway. The boys your age will eventually mature into fine adults worthy of your attentions...just give them a chance right now and you may come to find out that they’re alright.” Kame said.
“ FINE!! We’ll leave them alone....come on Hana...lets go and help my mom with dinner” both girls leave in huff.
“ Thanks Makoto” Koki said
“ Don’t mention it, we have been trying to get them to interested in boys their own age for quite sometime now” he said as he went back to the campsite, while Kame and Koki went back to their light make out session, it wasn’t anything too intense as they both were still recovering from earlier. Once they were fully dried off they put their clothes back and laid down on the blanket and watched the stars.
“ Hey Koki?”
“ Hmm” he said as he was gently ran his fingers through Kame’s hair.
“ How come you never talk about your father and who he really is? And why you and your mother and brothers were always under heavy protection, not to mention the new position you found yourself in a few a years ago.” He asked, Of course Kame already knew about what else Koki was hiding but he always wondered why he never entrusted their friends and band mates with the same knowledge.
“ Because my father is dead to me, even though he’s alive and a broken man because of the choice he made all those years ago right after Juri was born. I never talk about the rest of it since it has nothing to do with the life I have now, and I only have to deal with it when business decisions need to be made....” Kame gave him a strange look.
“ Don’t worry Angel, I never give those kinds of orders...I can’t stomach them, though if Miroku keeps up his shit, I may make an exception in his case,” Koki said and given what Kame knew, he knew full well it wasn’t idle threat, “ Those are the types of orders would take me away from you and would destroy my career and I don’t ever want to be separated from you...ever”
“ Good, I am glad to hear it” Kame smiled at Koki’s answer and gave him light, soft kiss on the lips.
“ As to why I have only told you about it and not Jin and the others...its simple, they would definitely hate me and would probably turn me over to the cops or something”
“ I was just wondering” Kame said and dropped the subject.
“ Hey Kame?”
“ Yeah, baby”
“ Answer me honestly...have you ever thought about leaving me because of my condition?”
“ Honestly...yes, I have...but then I thought about what it would do to me and I always felt my stomach churn at the very thought of giving up on you. I realized that I couldn’t bring myself to do such a thing to the most important man in my life and I don’t want or need anyone else but you so don’t be afraid I am not going anywhere, cause like it or not...Koki...you and your illness is stuck with a diva like me as your boyfriend.” Kame smirked and saw once again koki saw no lie in Kame’s eyes...Kame wasn’t going anywhere.
“ I am glad not only because you’re staying with me cause you want to, but also because you were honest with me.” he said as lifted himself on his elbow and leaned down and kissed Kame deeply, who eagerly responded in kind and they started round two. Twenty minutes later, they got a phone call telling them that dinner was ready so they headed back to eat and after dinner they sat around the camp fire telling ghost stories while Kame’s niece fell asleep curled up in Koki’s lap, while ran, jelly, sakura were asleep in Kame’s lap, Koki’s other dog preferred to sleep in the doggie tent. After a while everyone retired to their tents for the night since they have to get up early so they can go floating on the river.
