Summary: *avoids like the bubonic plague* This is a sequel the KoKame half of Rescue me, so you may want to read that one first...so you can understand this one better
Kame’s definition of hell:
Kame wakes up to a soft caress on the right side of his head and for a moment he thinks its Koki but then he remembers where he is and with whom and he gets pissed off and annoyed again.
“ You have to eat something, my darling.” Miroku coos through the cage bars.
“ I told you to let me go, and I am not hungry” Kame says even though his stomach just gave him away.
“ Its been a two weeks already. I bring you the best food and drink money could buy, I keep you safe and out of harms way and I tell you I love you everyday and you’re still not happy. I don’t get it, how can you not be happy? How can you not feel like your in heaven?” Miroku asked feeling confused by Kame’s behavior.
“ Heaven? You call me being kidnaped and locked in a cage by you, a certified nut case, heaven?” Kame said with a grim smile. “ Heaven only has one name and you ripped me away from him” He says with glaring accusations in his eyes.
“ You mean Tanaka-san? Are you still trying to convince yourself that you were happy with him?”
“ Yes, I do and I am not trying to convince myself of anything. If you define this as heaven then what definition would you give to hell?” Kame asked, trying to get his head around this guy's messed up way of thinking.
“ My definition of hell? Hmm....what my life was before you finally realized where you belong, with me.” Miroku replied still lost in his delusions.
“ Want to know what mine is?”
“ Sure, darling, what is it?” Miroku said, for whatever reason he really wants to know the answer.
“YOU!” Kame points at his capture through the cage bars “ You are my definition of what hell is” Kame answered
“ Now, I am just going to have to change that again now aren’t I?” He said as walked over, unlocked the door, climbed in and forced himself on Kame.
“ OI!! Once was enough! Get...OFF...OF..ME!!” Kame screamed and shoved Miroku off. “ Do you honestly think I was going to allow to have your way with me? The ONLY reason why you got away with it the first time was because you drugged me and you couldn’t even get me off then! Now get the fuck away from me!” Kame said and kicked him in the stomach.
“Why you little....” he raised his hand to hit Kame but stopped when Kame said....
“ You say you love me right? Then why do you repeatedly hit me?”
“ Because you’re like a wild animal that needs to be tamed...but unfortunately I don’t have the time right now as I have an important call to make. So, we’ll continue this later, darling.” Miroku said as he tried to kiss Kame good bye, but Kame only shoved him away even further.
“ Koki! Help me...please hurry!” Kame thought, connecting his thoughts to Koki’s heart
Back at JE:
“ Any word from the police about Kame?” Ueda asked Maru and the others, seeing as Koki has been spending a in ornate amount of time in Johnny’s office. In fact he’s only shown himself once to his band mates since Kame was abducted two weeks ago and that was just to tell them about Kame, they haven’t seen him since, unless it was outside the building or just in passing and even then he didn’t say anything to them and that included Nakamaru. Which probably was a good thing since his state of mind has been slowly getting worse and his medication is with Kame and he hasn’t been able to take it this whole time.
“ No and nothing from Koki either.” Maru replied sadly.
“ This is crazy, I am going to up to Johnny’s office. Those two have to know something” Jin said clearly frustrated and left for the 37th floor.
Johnny’s office:
“ Still no word from the cops? What’s taking them so damn long? I want Kame back and I want him back NOW!” Koki yelled.
“ I am sorry Koki but they still haven’t found any clues as to where he might be. They searched Miroku’s apartment but didn’t get any leads as they didn’t find anything out if the ordinary. For crazy person, this guy’s an intelligent one. He always seems to be able to stay on step ahead of us.”
“ My state of mind is worsening and pretty soon I...” he heard Kame’s thoughts again. “ We’re trying every thing we can, baby, just hang in there.” Koki thought and he heard a clear “Okay, but hurry” inside his head.
Johnny was about to ask him something when there was a knock on his door and his phone rang at the exact same time.
“ Come in.” Johnny said as he picked up his phone, Koki looked towards the door...
“ What do you want, Jin?” Koki said
“ I came to find out if there was anything new on Kame’s location. You two are shut up in here all the time or you’re seen talking to strange men I have never seen you hang around with before, Koki.”
“ Do you think that....” Koki was cut off by Johnny
“ Koki....its for you...its Miroku..” Johnny explained and handed Koki the phone.
“ Where’s Kazuya, you bastard?” Koki said grabbing the phone.
“ He’s safe and sound with me but if you want to see him one last time, then come to Yokohama. Go about ten miles out of the city until you see a building with this address on the mailbox. He’s there waiting for you” Miroku said and gave him the address as he hung up.
“ Well Koki? What did he say? Is Kame safe?” Jin asked
“ He gave me an address to a building ten miles out of Yokohama. He said Kame was waiting for me.” He told his boss and Jin, left a copy of the address to give to the cops and he walked out of the door dialing a number on his phone in the process.
“ Akihira? Its me Joker, yeah I have a location on where Ace might be. I need you to drive me there.”
“ Sure Boss” He said as he hung up.
“ Hey Koki! Wait up!”
Turning he saw Jin running up to him....
“ What is it? I don’t have much time.”
“ Don’t do anything stupid, just let the cops handle this.” Jin said, knowing full well that Koki was going to rescue Kame himself.
“ I am sorry, Jin, I can’t.” and he ran down the stairs and out to the waiting car on the north end of the street.
“ KOKI!!” Jin called but Koki was already gone as Johnny walked up and stood next to Jin.
“ He’s gone after Kamenashi-san huh?”
“ Yes, he has. Um, can ask you something sir? Jin asked turning to face Johnny.
“Yes?”
“ I understand he wants Kame back...we all do and him more so, but why doesn’t he let the cops go after Miroku? He hasn’t been taking his medication regularly as Kame always keeps on him and I am not sure how bad off he really is, only Kame does and they keep it hidden from the rest of us. Do you know who these strange men are that Koki has been walking the halls with and has been seen coming in and out of your office with as well?” Jin asked.
“ Their situation is an unique one and they don’t trust TPD, not entirely anyway, and I am sending someone they can trust to back up Koki. Yes, I have noticed the change in Koki without his meds but if he wants his relapses to stop then he has to work through it on his own for the most part. As for your last question I can’t answer that...its not my place even though it is my business. But regardless, its Kamenashi-san’s and Tanaka-san’s business and if they choose not to tell you or anyone else then there’s nothing I can do..I am not about to break their trust. But I can tell you is that those two have a good reason and I would advise you to forget that you ever saw those men and to not ask them about it. Now, go and tell the others that we may have Kamenashi-san’s location.” Johnny said an walked back to his office.
“ Sure” Jin says as he watches Johnny’s retreating back. He walks slowly back to KT’s dance studio, still processing everything Johnny just told, or didn’t tell, him about Koki and Kame. When he gets there he doesn’t notice three pairs of eyes boring into the back of his head as he sits down, its only when Ueda comes over and plants a kiss on his lips does he come out of his reverie.
“ So Jin, what’s the word? Have they found our Turtle?” Ueda asks his lover.
“Yes, they say he’s being held in a building ten miles out from Yokohama..or so says Miroku anyway and instead of letting TPD handle things, and Koki went to go get him back.”
“ What a baka! Doesn’t he know how dangerous that is?” Junno asked.
“ Yes, he does but you didn’t see his eyes earlier. They were worse than when I witnessed the onset of one of his episodes and there was no way I or anyone else could have talked him out of it. The only one capable of such a thing is Kame and as he’s not here....” Jin just trails off and shrugs as he pulls Ueda into his lap, holding on to him as if he would just up and disappear into his own darkness the way Koki does.
“ And those men we have seen Koki with this past week?” Maru asked.
“ I think whoever they are it doesn’t have anything that has to do with us or Koki and Kame would have mentioned it by now and I really don’t think we should inquire about what it is that they are hiding from us, if they want us to know then they will tell us.” Ueda said before Jin could get the words out.
“ I forgot just annoyingly perceptive you are Tat-chan, but I am glad you are” He said as he hugged Ueda.
Back in Yokohama:
“ Well my darling, Tanaka-san is on his way here and in just a few short hours...I’ll have my revenge and we can finally be together forever” Miroku said
“ I wouldn’t count it if I were you, psycho! You could never make me happy nor will you ever be able to handle me outside of this damn cage you have me locked away in like some rare bird species” Kame counters.
“ Tsk, tsk, and the doctors call me delusional. Why don’t you just make your situation easier on yourself and admit the truth finally.”
“ Because I am not going to admit to a lie and give you what you want. I love Koki and I want to be with Koki and NOT YOU! Why is Koki’s destruction so important to you anyway? He’s never met you before that day you joined JE.” Kame wondered.
Miroku was about to respond when they heard another voice answer.....it was koki.
“ Its simple Ace...he’s my half-brother. He was born not so long after our father ran out on us.” Koki answered as he walks in and faces Miroku as Akihira finally gets Kame free.
“Joker!!” Kame said excitedly as Akihira ran over and started picking the lock on his cage door and then on the chain that kept his leg tied to the wall.
“ He’s right and I hold you personally responsible for taking everything away from me” Miroku said has he pulled a gun on Koki. “ If it wasn’t for you being alive...I would’ve been the Don of Tokyo but NO I was never thought of as his son, all I ever heard about growing up was YOU and what a mistake he made by running out his other wife and sons! All I ever heard from him was what a mistake he made by abandoning you and your mother, what a mistake I was and that he never loved me! The very last words he ever spoke to me before he died was that I was never his son and that every thing he has was going to his rightful heirs, and that included his mafia business....So I did my homework and found out everything I could about you, I found out that you joined JE and became the head of the Tokyo Group. I thought that I could finally get my revenge on you, making my hatred for you disappear.”
“ And me?” Kame asks from his position by Akihira who had to help him stand since hasn’t eaten anything in two weeks. Hearing Kame’s voice he says....
“ I really did see you perform in Dream Boys and that was when I fell in love. But then I came to find out that you and my dear brother here had got together and....”
“And it made you despise me even more right? You claim I took everything from you, you say I stole everything that would have made you happy but I am not the one you should be this angry at” Koki says as his mental state gets even worse and pretty soon not even Kame will be able to see any trace of the man that he loves when he looks in Koki’s eyes.
“ So, you thought that by getting rid of Koki that you would be the new leader of the Organization and that I will just forget about him and fall madly in love with you?” Kame asked.
“ Yes, my darling but seeing as you refuse to love me back even if I do kill him then I have no choice but to kill you too” He says as he now points the gun at Kame and pulls the trigger, just as Koki yanks his arm up and the bullet that was meant for Kame goes straight through the ceiling as Koki tries to wrestle the gun away from Miroku. Kame tries to run over and save Koki but Akihira won’t let him go....
“ Let me go, Akihira!”
“ I am sorry Ace, Joker ordered me not too. Now come on let’s go, he told me to get you away from here after I got you out of the cage” he said as he pulls a struggling Kamenashi away from the scene before them.
“ I have to help him....if not he’s.....” Kame’s cut off as he’s thrown to the ground as two guns go off simultaneously, looking up he sees Koki stop his fight with Miroku and starts staggering backwards, clutching his stomach....blood pouring through his gun shot wound and staining the ground around him.
“ N..No! JOKER!!!” Kame screams as runs to where his boyfriend has collapsed and places Koki’s head into his lap and one of his hands on place where the bullet entered his body. “ Koki!! No, Don’t leave me! Just hold on baby!” Kame said as the tears started to flow. Akihira comes over with the owner of the other gun that was heard....
“ Um...Ace...this is Joker's father and he was the one that finished off Miroku. Just as Miroku’s gun went off his did too, Miroku is dead. ” he says, Kame doesn’t answer.
“ Ka..Kame...” said a weak voice, Kame looks down. “ I told...told you that I would save you even if it cost me my very life and I did..” he says
“ Shh....baby, don’t talk Koki. Save your strength” Kame choked out.
“ You’re....” Koki never finishes as he closes his eyes and his breathing becomes shallower, he never hears the sirens of the ambulance and Kame screaming his name trying to get him to wake up again nor does he hear the paramedics saying that they were taking him to the hospital, much less feel it when Kame slips both rings from his hand as they are climbing in the back of the ambulance and are speeding off towards the hospital. Once at the hospital Koki is immediately rushed into the O.R. as Kame calls Ueda and the others who rush to him as fast as possible.
“ KAME!!” the other four shout at once as Ueda grabs him puts his arms around him as Kame breaks down cries into his shoulder and that’s how they are found 6 hours later when the surgeon comes out from the O.R. just as Koki is being taking up to the ICU.
“ How is he doc? Will he make it?” Jin asked since Kame didn’t have the strength to speak and just stayed where he was....glued to either Maru or Ueda in this case Ueda.
“ Its still too early to tell but he should pull through. The bullet missed is spine as it passed through his body but we had to remove his spleen though,as that’s where most of the damage and blood loss is from and it nicked his right lung so we had to patch that up as well.” The doctor told them as Kame tugged on Maru’s shirt to gain his attention and whispered something in his ear who nodded and then turned to the doctor..
“ Kame wants to know how long he’ll be unconscious for?”
“ Its hard to say for sure two, three weeks at best maybe longer a lot of it depends on him and whether or not he has any complications.” He says
“ Can we see him?” Ueda asks for Kame who still in shock after seeing his partner shot right in front of him.
“ Yeah sure go ahead.” He said as he walked away to check on another patient. After coaxing Kame to his feet they head upstairs to see Koki and Kame immediately grabs the nearest chair and sits next to Koki’s bed side as the others crowd around him praying he pulls through.

“ I am sorry Ace, Joker ordered me not too. Now come on let’s go, he told me to get you away from here after I got you out of the cage” he said as he pulls a struggling Kamenashi away from the scene before them.
“ I have to help him....if not he’s.....” Kame’s cut off as he’s thrown to the ground as two guns go off simultaneously, looking up he sees Koki stop his fight with Miroku and starts staggering backwards, clutching his stomach....blood pouring through his gun shot wound and staining the ground around him.
“ N..No! JOKER!!!” Kame screams as runs to where his boyfriend has collapsed and places Koki’s head into his lap and one of his hands on place where the bullet entered his body. “ Koki!! No, Don’t leave me! Just hold on baby!” Kame said as the tears started to flow. Akihira comes over with the owner of the other gun that was heard....
“ Um...Ace...this is Joker's father and he was the one that finished off Miroku. Just as Miroku’s gun went off his did too, Miroku is dead. ” he says, Kame doesn’t answer.
“ Ka..Kame...” said a weak voice, Kame looks down. “ I told...told you that I would save you even if it cost me my very life and I did..” he says
“ Shh....baby, don’t talk Koki. Save your strength” Kame choked out.
“ You’re....” Koki never finishes as he closes his eyes and his breathing becomes shallower, he never hears the sirens of the ambulance and Kame screaming his name trying to get him to wake up again nor does he hear the paramedics saying that they were taking him to the hospital, much less feel it when Kame slips both rings from his hand as they are climbing in the back of the ambulance and are speeding off towards the hospital. Once at the hospital Koki is immediately rushed into the O.R. as Kame calls Ueda and the others who rush to him as fast as possible.
“ KAME!!” the other four shout at once as Ueda grabs him puts his arms around him as Kame breaks down cries into his shoulder and that’s how they are found 6 hours later when the surgeon comes out from the O.R. just as Koki is being taking up to the ICU.
“ How is he doc? Will he make it?” Jin asked since Kame didn’t have the strength to speak and just stayed where he was....glued to either Maru or Ueda in this case Ueda.
“ Its still too early to tell but he should pull through. The bullet missed is spine as it passed through his body but we had to remove his spleen though,as that’s where most of the damage and blood loss is from and it nicked his right lung so we had to patch that up as well.” The doctor told them as Kame tugged on Maru’s shirt to gain his attention and whispered something in his ear who nodded and then turned to the doctor..
“ Kame wants to know how long he’ll be unconscious for?”
“ Its hard to say for sure two, three weeks at best maybe longer a lot of it depends on him and whether or not he has any complications.” He says
“ Can we see him?” Ueda asks for Kame who still in shock after seeing his partner shot right in front of him.
“ Yeah sure go ahead.” He said as he walked away to check on another patient. After coaxing Kame to his feet they head upstairs to see Koki and Kame immediately grabs the nearest chair and sits next to Koki’s bed side as the others crowd around him praying he pulls through.
